On Sunday, June 5th (Whitsunday), we celebrate the holy feast of Pentecost: the feast that commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles on the fiftieth day counted from Easter – the feast of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit has inspired the Apostles to spread the Word of Jesus (the Gospel, literally the ‘good message’) around the world. Join us for this celebration in the Morning Prayer, in the Martini Church in Groningen at 11:30 am. The service will be ministered by Jasja Nottelman. We welcome the participation of the Dutch Choral Singers, directed by Henk de Vries. The organ will be played by Mannes Hofsink.

Zondag 5 juni 2022 vieren we Pinksteren. Op de vijftigste dag gerekend vanaf Pasen (het feest van de opstanding van Christus), draait het allemaal om de Heilige Geest die op de apostelen neerdaalt en die hen inspiratie geeft om de goede boodschap van Jezus (het Evangelie) verder in de wereld te verspreiden. We verwelkomen je om dit feest met ons mee te vieren in de (deels) Engelstalige Morning Prayer in de Martinikerk in Groningen, aanvang 11:30 uur. Voorganger is Jasja Nottelman. Met medewerking van de Dutch Choral Singers onder leiding van Henk de Vries. Organist is Mannes Hofsink.
